After seeing how impacted my wisdom teeth were on an x-ray film, I knew that eventually I would have to have them taken out. However, I delayed because I was nervous of undergoing a surgery to have three teeth pulled out at the same time. Dr. Koos recommended taking them out before I started graduate school and became swamped with schoolwork and exams. After some contemplation, I took his advice and scheduled an appointment. The surgery was painless and when I woke up from being sedated I felt like I had just taken a nap. On the third day, I experienced more than usual swelling on my lower left side of the face because that wisdom tooth was close to a nerve. Dr. Koos followed up with me on various occasions to make sure that swelling was going down and that I was doing alright. This is the doctor who won’t just leave you hanging once you have paid for the procedure. He will take time out of his busy schedule to follow up with patients and make sure they receive good care throughout their recovery as well. Dr. Koos leads a great team and is an exceptional clinician. He is probably one of the best oral surgeons in the area. I can continue bragging about how awesome he is, but the only way anybody will be truly convinced is after you meet him and trust him with your surgery
