about the studio
ORA® Oral Surgery & Implant Studio is a 5,000 square foot state-of-the art, fully green practice located in the heart of Chicago's thriving South Loop. Dr. Steven Koos, DDS, MD, who is a Patient's Choice Award recipient, is one of a select few "dual-degree" oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the nation who has obtained both dental and medical degrees. His extensive education, training, and experience makes him a true expert in all phases of oral and maxillofacial surgery, however, his collective primary practice focus is dental implants, bone augmentation (grafting), wisdom teeth extraction, sleep apnea and snoring treatment, orthognathic surgery, sedation and general anesthesia.
From the moment you walk into ORA® it is obvious that this is not your typical surgical office. In addition to using sustainable, eco-friendly materials and delivering green healthcare, the atmosphere is modern, tranquil, and inviting, designed for the ultimate in comfort. Our team of highly trained professionals delivers "Five Star" customer service and one-on-one personal attention in a relaxed and aesthetically beautiful atmosphere.
ORA® is also one of only a handful of oral surgery practices in the United States to offer the i-CAT - a 3D digital CAT scan for maxillofacial imaging. The i-CAT provides the most complete and accurate information on the anatomy of a patient that is available today.
